MINOCQUA POLICE DEPARTMENT TO START A CHAPLAIN PROGRAM
The Minocqua Police Department is in search of volunteer chaplains who are duly ordained, licensed ministers or retired ministers (still licensed or ordained) and are employed in a church or part of a church related organization to participate in their newly established Chaplain Program for the Department.
The chaplains will provide aid to Minocqua officers and the citizens of Minocqua through a field service ministry. They will provide spiritual guidance, pastoral counseling, and comfort in times of crisis. Such services will be provided as a result of requests from members of the Minocqua Police Department and/or the citizens of Minocqua.
The chaplains will also provide spiritual guidance and pastoral counseling to all personnel of the Department, sworn and civilian, and their families in times of need. These services are available on the basis of need and desire. Police chaplains are not intended to replace an individual’s own minister.
Chaplains wishing to participate in the program should submit a letter of interest to:
