- Town Ordinance Sec. 56-147. - Nighttime parking and longterm parking. (a) April 16 through October 31.
- (1) You may park overnight in parking lots A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and L.
- There is no public parking allowed in parking lots M from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the exception of municipal public safety and public works employees.
- There is no parking allowed in parking lots N, P, Q, R, and S from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., unless designated by picnic license and/or facility rental agreement. Parking lot P exception: municipal public safety and public works employees.
- (2) Except as prohibited in section 56-143 and subsection 56-147(a)(3) below, you may park overnight on any street in the town of Minocqua.
- (3) There is no parking allowed on Oneida Street from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- (4) Vehicles may not be left in any parking lot for more than 48 consecutive hours. This provision does not apply to municipal owned or police authorized vehicles. (b) November 1 through April 15. (Winter Parking Restrictions)
- (1) There is no parking allowed in parking lots A, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, O, and P from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the following exception for lot H only: overnight parking is allowed if a parking space is specifically designated by signage to allow overnight parking.
- (1a) There is no public parking allowed in parking lots M from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the exception of municipal public safety and public works employees.
- (2) There is no parking allowed in parking lot B from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on odd-numbered calendar days.
- (3) There is no parking allowed in parking lot C from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on even-numbered calendar days.
- (3a) There is no parking allowed in parking lots N, P, R, and S from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., unless designated by picnic license and/or facility rental agreement. Parking lot P exception: municipal public safety and public works employees.
- (3b) Parking lot Q: snowmobile park and ride. Overnight parking allowed, not to exceed [subsection] 56-147(b)(5).
- (4) There is no parking allowed from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on any town road (including culs-de-sac) and on Highway 51 in either direction between the north end of the Minocqua Lake bridge and the Minocqua water tower.
- (5) Vehicles may not be left in any parking lot for more than 48 consecutive hours. This provision does not apply to municipal owned or police authorized vehicles.

State Statute 346.48 - Vehicles to stop for school buses displaying flashing lights.
(1) The operator of a vehicle which approaches from the front or rear any school bus which has stopped on a street or highway when the bus is equipped according to s. 347.25 (2) and when it is displaying flashing red warning lights, shall stop the vehicle not less than 20 feet from the bus and shall remain stopped until the bus resumes motion or the operator extinguishes the flashing red warning lights. The operator of any school bus which approaches from the front or rear any school bus which has stopped and is displaying flashing red warning lights shall display its flashing red lights while stopped. This subsection does not apply to operators of vehicles proceeding in the opposite direction on a divided highway.

Boater Safety Requirements: Anyone at least 12 years of age and born on or after Jan. 1, 1989
ATV/UTV Safety Requirements: Anyone at least 12 yeas of age and born on or after Jan. 1, 1988
Snowmobile Safety Requirement: Anyone at least 12 yeas of age and born on or after Jan. 1, 1988.
