Joint Statement from the Minocqua Police Department and Woodruff Police Department
It is with deep sadness that the Minocqua Police Department and Woodruff Police Department announce the passing of former Woodruff Police Chief Leonard “Lenny” Drewsen, who passed away overnight.
Chief Drewsen dedicated many years of his life to serving and protecting the communities of Woodruff and the surrounding area. His commitment to public service, leadership, and care for the people he served left a lasting impact on both departments and the community as a whole.
We ask that the public respect the privacy of Chief Drewsen’s family during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends, and all who knew him.
