Re: Media Release – For Immediate Release

On Saturday May 02, 2026, at approximately 12:00PM the Minocqua Police Department was in the area of the Minocqua Brewing Company for a planned protest. There was a crowd gathered at the Minocqua Brewing Company for a planned event and a crowd gathered across the street for the planned protest. The Police Department did not have any issues with either crowd. The majority of the crowd left the area by approximately 2:30PM.

There was one citation issued for Disorderly Conduct to an individual from Green Bay who was not associated with either group.

The Minocqua Police Department was assisted with this event by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, The County Ambulance Service, Minocqua Fire Department, and Woodruff Fire Department.
